FARR MAKES SAN ANTONIO FC MOVE FOR 2022 SEASON
Sports Management Worldwide in partnership with Sprint MG are delighted to announce that our client, Jordan Farr, has joined San Antonio FC for the 2022 season. The signing is pending league and federation approval.
Towards the end of the 2021 USL Championship (USLC) season, Jordan Farr joined San Antonio on an emergency loan from Indy Eleven replacing regular starter Matt Cardon in the Championship Playoffs. Farr started all three games of the post-season helping San Antonio FC to reach the Western Conference Final, before finally losing to Orange County SC in a penalty shootout.
Head Coach Alen Marcina, welcomed Jordan Farr back to San Antonio;
“We are delighted to welcome Jordan back to the team,” said SAFC Head Coach Alen Marcina. “He performed exceptionally well for us in playoffs demonstrating the ability to make prominent saves in key moments. Jordan is a high character, high-performing goalkeeper, and well-received addition to our team culture.”
Maikel Tsuji, for Jordan Farr, spoke about his return to SAFC:
“Jordan and his family had a fantastic experience in SAFC at the end of last season. He had a number of clubs that showed interest, but a return to SAFC was his first choice. We are excited to see how he goes this season and wish Jordan and SAFC all the best for 2022. Hopefully they can go one step further than last year!”
For the past four seasons Jordan Farr made 34 appearances for Indy Eleven, the majority of which came in 2021 where he started 21 USLC matches, making 72 saves, 5 shutouts and a 7% save percentage, accumulating in 1,890 minutes on the field.
Everyone at Sports Management Worldwide and Sprint MG wish Jordan all the best for the season. We look forward to seeing some more spectacular saves at Toyota Field #Defend210
