It’s been a busy and exciting 4 weeks for SprintMG client Maddie Pokorny.
After being instrumental in helping HB Køge win three straight titles in the Danmarksturneringens Kvindeliga, (Danish Women’s Top Divison), and earn qualification to the UEFA Women’s Champions League, Maddie Pokorny has joined Racing Louisville FC in the NWSL on a short-term contract.
As a St Louis native, and former standout for Saint Louis University, Pokorny is delighted to be back home, even if, for the moment, it’s as a World Cup National Team replacement player.
“When I first heard that Racing were interested in bringing me in, my mind was made up. Even if it’s only for the period of the World Cup, I am so excited to be here, and will give it my all. Having my family and friends close by, and them being able to come and support me, is amazing. I can’t wait to get started.”
SprintMG Agent Oscar Rojas, also a St Louis local, was delighted in helping get Maddie a contract back home.

Maddie Pokorny made her debut coming on as a second half subsitute in Racing Louisville FC’s 2-1 win against Kansas City.
