Having spent 5 years at South African PSL club Baroka FC, Collins Makgaka’s time at the club is sadly coming to an end.
Baroka FC gave Collins a steppingstone into the professional game, and more importantly, experience playing at the highest level in South Africa.
At 24, Collins believes this is the right time to move on from Baroka FC but it is not without a heavy heart.
“I would like to thank the chairman, Mr Mphahlele, the staff, (past and present) and the fans for all the support you have given me over these 5 enjoyable years at the club. In my first season at the club we gained promotion to the PSL and more recently winning the Telkom Knockout in 2018 have been the highlights in my career, these are memories I will cherish forever. I am sad to be leaving this great club but I am excited to see what the future holds. I’d like to wish everyone connected to the club the very best of luck for the future.”
Collins is excited for the next chapter of his career as he looks to fulfil his ambitions to become one of the top players in the PSL.
